About Solar

Why solar?

Solar offers an endless supply of clean and renewable energy for your home, workplace or even school. As well as being the fastest growing energy source in the world today. Solar is more affordable and reliable than ever before.

What are solar panels?

The solar panels or photovoltaic panels are made up of cells which convert solar energy from the sun into direct current (DC) electricity via the photovoltaic effect.

Why do I need a solar inverter?

Along with the solar panels the solar inverter is the most important part of your solar system. The solar inverter is designed to change the DC electricity produced by the panels into alternating electricity (AC) electricity.

How is that electricity used?

The AC electricity is then transferred from the solar inverter into your home, workplace or school where it is used to power your everyday appliances.

What is a grid tied solar inverter?

Grid tied solar inverters such as EnaSolar's
1.5, 2.0, 3.0, 3.8kW and 4.0 & 5.0kW dual MPPT grid tied solar inverters work by feeding any excess electricity produced back into the utility grid.
